Yoga Burn 12 week Challenge Reviews
By chance, I have come across this 12-week Yoga Burn Challenge. Therefore, I have gone through some research and reviews about this program.
The Yoga Burn Program is designed by Zoe Bray Cotton and is a online yoga program. Zoe is a well-known yoga instructor who has been teaching this practise for over a decade across the country’s most respected and renowned gyms and yoga studios.
The Yoga Burn Program is said to be developed from her expertise in dealing with a variety of clients. However, this program is customized for women looking to lose weight and keep it off.
Yoga Burn focuses on teaching you yoga postures that are known to increase the overall metabolism of the body. This helps in burning fat while still toning the whole body.
The program is divided into 3 phases and each phase lasts for 4 weeks. The 3 phases of the yoga burn challenge include: Foundational Flow, Transitional Flow and Mastery Flow.
Each of these phases is accompanied by four videos that can be downloaded onto your phone or computer.
Phase 1: Foundational Flow
A solid foundation is important no matter what the activity, program or project. This is the same in the case of Yoga Burn. This phase focuses on building a strong foundation for your yoga practice and weight loss endeavors. The four weeks that make up a part of this phase are designed in a way that your basic foundation for a strong yoga practice is laid.
In this phase, you are also guided on the concept of a ‘mind and body’ connection. This is best described as way of connecting to your body so that it is easier to power through the more challenging sequences.
For someone who has practiced yoga before this program should have understand just how important it is to invest time in perfecting your form or posture before diving head first into this practice. This foundation phase is well-designed to cater to newbies as well as more advanced yoga practitioners.
Someone who has tried out the program review it took her almost a week to feel comfortable with the sequences and poses and she noticed a change right away. While her stubborn belly fat was undeterred, her arms, legs and shoulders felt sore after a good workout.
This is how she knew something was working. Sometimes it was a little difficult for her to follow the pace of the video as she wanted things to move faster. But then again, the investment in gaining proper form or posture was an investment that promises to pay off in the long run.
Phase 2: Transitional Flow
Once you have followed the foundational phase for the recommended period of four weeks, the second phase begins. Transitional Flow is dedicated to teaching you how to best make use of the benefits of correct form or posture with slightly more advanced moves.
The aim of this exercise is to increase the rate of calorie burn and overall metabolism and heart rate. Since the four weeks of Foundational training makes you comfortable and confident with basic moves, the second phase enables you to get a more intense workout.
This phase helps you continue the process of building muscle and losing fat whilst getting toned. The videos here focus on large muscle groups and incorporate three workout videos for said muscle groups: Upper Body, Lower Body and Core.
Instead of simply focusing on form or posture, this phase also helps you learn how to smoothly transition from each pose to another. This entire experience of learning transitions helps you enjoy all the movements.
From the review of someone who has tried the program, she said these four weeks played a huge role in helping her feel good about her body from the inside out.
By the time she was on Week 5, she found herself focusing entirely on the movements, no matter what was happening around her. Best described as ‘moving meditation’, she found that the transitional phase was helpful in connecting her to a source of peace within her while helping her workout.
In this phase her arms were visibly more toned and she felt her core to be strengthened as compared to before. She think she lost about 6 pounds or so in this phase.
Phase 3: Mastery Flow
All the skills you develop in the first two phases are put to test in this master phase. The makers of this program have designed it in such a way that the last trimester of the twelve week program does wonders for your metabolism. The phases learnt in the transitional period are set into high gear as the intensity of workout increases.
The workout in this phase was certainly a little difficult to get through on some days as there were combinations of lower and upper body movements. Such movements are known to have a host of benefits, one of which is the ability to give you a more intense workout in a shorter time.
From the review from someone who is into this program noticed that eventually, the targeted muscled were ones that women usually have trouble with. The hips, core and arms get a really good workout. In her case at least, these were the major trouble areas. The Mastery Flow phase of Yoga Burn was certainly her favorite as it pushed her to her limits.
On the side of mental clarity, she felt re-energized in this phase. Weeks 9-12 were the ones where she could notice a sure fat loss. Her favorite pair of jeans is already threatening to get too loose to be worn anymore.

This program will require discipline if you want to receive the real benefits. Apart from the fact that you need to be consistent with the workouts to see results, you have to be serious while doing the actual workout.
The postures and movements are simple enough, but if you are not careful, you might end up doing more harm than help. My advice is to ensure that you are doing exactly what the instructions say to avoid any injuries.
Yoga Burn takes some time to show noticeable results. In fact, everything in life take some time to show results. If someone told you that their product can see result immediately or in short period, it is either not true or the product might be doing harmful to your health in long run.
The actual workouts are not very easy and might require you to power through during tough moments. You cannot expect this program to work if you don’t supplement it with other healthy habits. Just like you can’t go to the gym and eat fried chicken for lunch every day. You can’t expect to see results without some serious lifestyle changes.
Again, discipline is the main key. You cannot expect without putting effort in it and get result at the same time. If you are looking out for a miracle get-thin-fast program then Yoga Burn might not be for you.
As long as you have the discipline, patient, follow the instructions properly and change your diet and lifestyle, you will see results.

Thanks Janet for this comprehensive post. I’ve always wanted to try yoga for weight loss but since I gave birth to my baby girl last summer I just couldn’t find the time.
Practising yoga in front of the telly seems the only option for me, at least for now. The Yoga Burn programme seems challenging but well worth the effort!
Thanks for sharing:)

Hi Agnes. You are most welcome. Yes, the beautiful of this Yoga Burn programme is you can practice at your convenient home and time. As long as you follow their advice and instruction and try to find time everyday to workout, you will see result.
Because you can practice it at home, you can actually make use of the time while your baby is having her nap to do the workout without leaving house. It’s so much convenient..:-)

Hello – the title of your post grabbed me and really enjoyed reading it. Would the program work for an older gentleman such as myself? I am approaching my 7th decade and would like to find a program that helps to keep flexibility, endurance, and strength. This seems like the type of program I would be interested in. Look forward to your response.
